Short biography.

I started painting at the age of  5 years and since then I have not stopped doing it. I graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Seville, Spain in 2003 and since then I have only dedicated myself to art.

I have been artistic director in the company Decoralia, Spain, from 2002 to 2014. Graduated set designer at CAT, Seville, 2001, Graduated in leather embossing at the School of Arts and Crafts of Córdoba 1998.

I am currently dedicated to my own artistic vision. I like to combine aesthetics with psychology and my paintings are full of philosophical moments, hidden clues, riddles and even humor.

First jobs

I won a regional prize for painting at the age of  5 years. I won it again with 12. It was the regional painting prize of the Monte de Piedad and Savings Bank of Córdoba, Spain.

My first paintings were more or less abstract landscapes with a lot of color. I included collage in my paintings.

Academic training

I graduated in Fine Arts at the University of Seville, Spain, in 2003. The Seville University provides classical-style artistic training. The copying of paintings and sculptures by established artists is very important in its educational proposal. Student training at this university is realistic and classic in style, both aesthetically and in the use of materials. It is a Baroque style university.

My final year project consisted of the reproduction of the Libyan Sibyl, painted by Michelangelo in the Sistine Chapel. My final grade was 9.5 out of 10.

Before graduating in Fine Arts, I studied for three years at the School of Applied Arts in Córdoba, Spain, where I learned the art of embossing goat leather (year 1997), and at the Andalusian Theater Center, Seville, Spain, I graduated as props technician and production of television and theater scenarios (year 2001). Among other disciplines, I learned to make sculptures with fiberglass and polyester resin, cut and weld metals, sew fabrics, design a scenographic space, carpentry, etc.

I also took two Industrial Technical Engineering courses at the Polytechnic University of Córdoba, which prepared me to interpret and make plans, technical drawing and develop an analog mentality.
